Fort Fest Announces First Wave of Acts

Fort Fest, the UK’s coolest new rock festival and one of the most exciting for new UK bands, has announced the first set of acts to be playing at this year’s event on 4-6 August.

The initial lineup announcement includes two of our favourite bands in the form of Fort Hope and SEASONS, as well as our first ever interview on this site Eva Plays Dead. They’ll be joined by the likes of excellent female-fronted acts Skarlett Riot, Forever Still and Making Monsters, Autumn Ruin, Melbourne rockers Massive, and brutal metalcore act Our Hollow, Our Home.

The other bands announced are the brilliantly named The Ghost Riders In The Sky, The Bad Flowers, Apherium, Oceans, Phoenix Calling, The Brink, In Dynamics and Fires That Divide.

This year’s festival follows a successful debut event last year and it looks like a really exciting lineup. The good news is the headliners are still to be announced, so stay tuned for more soon!

If you want to check any of these bands out then have a listen to our newly created Fort Fest Spotify playlist with tracks from all these bands.

You can still apply to join these bands on the lineup, just fill in the application form here.

Fort Fest takes place on 4-6 August in Thurleigh, Bedfordshire. Tickets are available for just £45 here.
