Introducing: Essex band @palmistband, who've evolved their sound by adding pop and dance influences to their metal origins in what they describe as "sexy dance music." We took a listen to the band's latest single Spark and had a chat with guitarist Alex Hills to find out more about them.

Introducing: Brutal yet melancholic metal from German newcomers @defocus.band. The Aalen quartet offer up deliciously low-tuned guitars, searing synths, ambient melodies, and intense rhythms in their thrilling, immersive sound. We took a listen to the band's debut single Common Grave, which was released last month, and had a chat with them to look ahead to their debut album, which is out in July, and find out more about them.

Introducing: Catchy punk rock fuelled by "kick-ass bass lines" from North Carolina duo @camelcityblackouts. We took a listen to the duo's latest singles, Another Night and Angels, and had a chat with them to find out more.

#NewBandoftheWeek: Exciting Lancashire newcomers @cannulauk fuse elements of hardcore in an intense sound they believe brings us something we're not used to hearing from British metalcore. Expect huge riffs and breakdowns, intense vocals and intriguing lyrics in the band's exceptional hard-hitting sound. We took a listen to Cannula's first two singles, Fragmentation of a Soothed Soul and Soliloquy of What Will Be, and chatted to the band to find out more.
