All good things come to an end and, largely due to new work commitments and with somewhat of a heavy heart, the time has come for us to bring near-six years of GigRadar to a close.
Today, we have reached the milestone of the 1,000th article to be published on GigRadar. Since setting the site up from scratch in August 2016, we’ve covered new bands from all over the world and I’m pleased to say that numbers are only on the rise.
We’re celebrating the new year by revamping our podcast GigRadio. We recorded this episode just before Christmas and we’re delighted to announce it’s now available to listen to.
It’s been a successful year of new music for GigRadar with 332 posts getting 32,972 views from 22,668 visitors and a 46.5% increase in views on 2018.
