We decided to dial down the chat for Episode 8 of GigRadio to focus on some of the great new music we’ve received in the last week.
Today, we have reached the milestone of the 1,000th article to be published on GigRadar. Since setting the site up from scratch in August 2016, we’ve covered new bands from all over the world and I’m pleased to say that numbers are only on the rise.
With the entire world on lockdown amid unprecedented times, we thought we’d try to do our bit to bring some entertainment to your lives. With that in mind, we have a brand new podcast filled with new music from a whole host of exciting new bands.
One of the best days in the British music calendar has now been doubled to two days as Camden Rocks Festival welcomes 400 bands over 20 venues next weekend (1 and 2 June).
This year’s Camden Rocks Festival will be headlined by punk rock turned folk singer/songwriter Frank Turner.
Given they’re self-monikered as ‘real-life/pretend vampires playing real-life/pretend rock and roll,’ you might be surprised to hear Pagan describe their music as: “Just very heavy pop songs.”
