Warton Music Festival adds The Pigeon Detectives as headliners

We’re feeling very nostalgic today with the news that mid-2000s legends The Pigeon Detectives will headline this year’s Warton Music Festival.

The Leeds rockers shot to fame with their 2007 album Wait For Me, which sold over half a million records with classic tunes like Take Her Back and I Found Out, and a decade later enjoyed a sell-out UK tour last year.

The Pigeon Detectives join an exciting line-up of well-established and rising acts from across the country, including South London’s finest Ska outfit The Dualers, east coast hard rockers Scream Serenity, the UK’s best Oasis covers band Oasish and many more.

With its roots firmly grounded in the local Midlands music scene, Warton Music Festival has been delivering great line-ups since 2007. Founded by a collective of music enthusiasts, the festival has showcased some of the UK’s finest bands and solo artists over its ten-year span – selling out its original venue each time.

Last year saw a relocation to a 15-acre spot at Bentley Farm as the festival evolved into a three-day event with on-site camping and two stages filled with bands from across the UK.

Warton Music Festival returns to Bentley Farm on 20-22 July 2018 and tickets are on sale now here. A weekend ticket plus camping costs just £44 and a day ticket just £10, while under 14s get in for free.
