Guest Blog: Infinite Vibrations

When we heard about two university students on a mission to empower and support independent musicians, we were intrigued. So we invited Huddersfield-based Infinite Vibrations founders Josh Murphy and Lewis Daggers-Smith to write a guest blog on the project…

Here at Infinite Vibrations we’re on a mission to empower musicians through independence. That’s why we’re launching the first Musicians Entrepreneur Agency, based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

The new music company supports the career growth of independent musicians through knowledge sharing, network building and professional career development for musicians.

To do this, we have developed an all-inclusive array of services, which puts musicians at the forefront of the music industry. This includes; Music Business Education, Musicians Career Consultancy, Graphics and Branding, Press and PR and Creative Multi-media.

Through our infinite passion for music and unparalleled dedication to the music industry, we are working to create a collaborative space for musicians and artists to thrive. We are determined to make positive change to peoples’ careers by increasing their chances of success and establishing their music as a flourishing and rewarding experience.

Since the birth of Infinite Vibrations in 2018, we have provided a platform for more than 30 musicians and artists. Working together, we helped to develop their understanding of the music industry and offered essential experience to take their careers further. However, this was not enough. We wanted to make more of an impact on the careers of independent musicians.

Over the past six months we have been conducting comprehensive research into the music industry and the musicians within it. We found that there was one key factor that was limiting the progress of musicians and artists: they were being exploited. In combat of this, Infinite Vibrations commit to empower and liberate musicians and artists from this exploitation and instead deliver much needed support and guidance to help direct your careers.

Our vision for the future is to be the hub of the music industry, providing opportunities for all creative individuals. From musicians to designers, sound engineers to photographers. We want to be responsible for developing networks, encouraging collaboration and creating organic growth between our communities.

In summary, Infinite Vibrations provides musicians with everything they need to have a successful independent career in the music industry. And we’ve already had great feedback from people we’ve been working with.

For example, solo musician P.O.P.E., said: “After working with Infinite Vibrations my faith in the music industry has been restored. Infinite vibrations approached my release with professionalism and a keen eye for detail. I would highly recommend anyone who gets a chance to work with these guys to go for it!”

While fellow solo musician Adenico said: “Instantly, I felt connected to Infinite Vibrations and what they set out to achieve with it the local community. Their work ethic and output are continuous and consistent, and they work hard to scout out new artists to work with and promote, as well as new ways to achieve their goals in the industry.”

We’ll be celebrating this new independent era in music with a launch party at The Parish in Huddersfield on 28 February. The event will feature live music from DeadWax, Orca Blue and Valar Creek. And we’ll have a free raffle with a chance to win a £300 Infinite Vibrations voucher, which will help musicians take their careers further.
