A few years ago we headed along to see our friends in Defences play a gig at The Crowndale Club in Camden. The headline act that evening saw the six members of As Everything Unfolds pile onto the tiny stage and blow our minds, led by what we described as “the incredible vocals of Charlie Rolfe.”

We were handed a metal treat as we went along to see Defences, one of our favourite bands at GR Towers, as they supported melodic metal band The Raven Age along with another of our former featured bands MSRY at The Underworld in Camden last Thursday (28 March).
Anyone looking for a quiet Monday night in London was in the wrong place if they headed for the O2 Academy 2 in Islington as Skarlett Riot, Fahran and Sertraline put on a fine show of energetic rock and metal.
