A German band creating Japanese-inspired metal is probably one of the most niche musical genres we’ve covered in the five years of GigRadar’s existence.
Like many a good band throughout history, the story of German heavy metal act Premortal Breath begins with beer and in a pub. As frontman Tommy Greulich puts it: “It all began with beer. We met at a pub, had some beers and at the end of the evening Premortal Breath was born.”
Emerging from the Ruhr area in the south of Germany is brand new sextet All Miles Gone, who combine heavy male vocals and clean female vocals alongside a backdrop of brutal guitars and atmospheric melodies.
German band CHIOPS have honed a catchy punk-fused pop-rock sound that they describe to us as “alternativ poprock.”
